I know it's a long shot, but worth trying. My storage unit in Marysville was auctioned off at the end of April. I knew I was behind, but I was too overwhelmed to keep up and hadn't realized it went to auction. It has family heirlooms in it. Most aren't worth money, they just mean a lot to me, like my great grandma's wedding picture. My other grandparents were swindled for everything they had from a scam artist in another country. I have two small items from them, that's all that's left of my family legacy on both sides.
I'm a pretty quiet homebody, and I had a simple, and stable life. Over the last 1.5 years I lost everything, and not just things, but family and community, and opportunities. It's been a brutal storm. If you knew my life before, you wouldn't believe this is the path I ended up on. I can barely believe it myself.
