A pair of 1971 Gran Torino’s for Sale! Both of them are ideal for a restoration project as they come with a lot of starting material and a lot of options available being Fords. I know these cars are not your ‘typcial’ muscle car, but they are super cool looking and you really don’t see a ton of them around….they can be made into a racer or a cruiser car. Please read the descriptions of them below:
The Black One: $3000.00 (parts on Engine is why this one is more than the other)
Engine wise: I drove this car for years in the early 2000’s, but it was parked while I moved away to start my career. It has with an upgraded 302 engine that has an Edelbrock 750 4 Bbl carb, edlebrock manifold, aluminum fan, and as you can see through the dust on the photos various other chromed out hose protections. Years ago the electronic fuel pump was pulled off for another project, but I do have a new edelbrock micro-electronic fuel pump to go with it. Additionally, this car does have a B & M automatic shifter with it.
Body wise: base body, but it does have the scooped hood, all the glass is in tact, and there are extra’s with it in the trunk (decals, extra tail lights, grill, etc). There is some of the usual rust in the usual places (wheel wells in the back), but nothing major.
Interior: it’s a blank slate–I had always thought this one would be cool with buckets in the front & a center shifter. The dash has some cracks but overall really solid.
Clean title in hand
The Green One: $2000.00 (great cruiser car base)
Engine Wise: I bought this one to have a pair, but never got to pulling the engine to really go through it so I have never heard it run. But it is the stock Ford 351 that is original to the car (too me that’s the coolest part). As you can see in the photos it is all there!
Body Wise: This is your original car–The main body is in good shape, the front passanger quarter is banged up (quarters are pretty easy to find since they are interchangeable with a lot of the Fords for those years). Front glass is cracked, but all the rest is good (needs a scrubbing). There are some extra grill pieces and decals for this one in the trunk as well.
Interior: This has the original split front bench (I think they are cooler now since I’m old) and the rear bench so all the frames for reupholstering are there to work with.
Clean title in hand
Additional Information for both:
Please text (509) 4 Three 1- 87 One. Eight. -if you want to check the cars out or to make an offer ( you can also reply using the email option from craigslist). I am willing to work with someone on a package deal if they want the pair, but outside of that please don’t take up your or my time with crazy lowballs (you and I can both look to see what project cars without engines or missing half the body are going for…I did try to price these appropriately for what they are).
