25-30 +/- Rill Irrigated farmland for rent in Othello. Possibility to rent an additional 20-40 acres farm-ground on the same unit this year, with a total of about 90 acres in the near future. The minimum to rent for this rental is 25 acres. Rent and irrigation water is paid in full in advance for this term. Rent is $400 per acre paid in full in advance for this term.
Organic crops, organic pasture, and/or storage use only. Mint crops NOT allowed.
These fields have grown Sweet Corn, Indian Corn, Pop Corn, Field Corn, Alfalfa, Wheat, Potatoes, Dry Beans, Peas, Sugar Beets, Garden Beets, Winter Squash, Summer Squash, Cumbers, Peppers, Tomatoes, Cabbage, Watermelons, Melons, Pumpkins, and Sunflowers.
Irrigation water is extra and is based on acres rented. Irrigation water is provided by the East Columbia Basin District at an extra cost per acre. Irrigation District water is available until late October of each year. The Base Water fee must be paid for in advance regardless if the water is used. The Base Water fee in Y2025 is $78.40 per acre foot. Example: 22 acres is $1,728.
Rent must be paid in full prior to any farming active starting. The base irrigation water allotment for Y2025 must be paid for in full prior to any deliver of any irrigation district water is made. Excess Water (over the Base Allotment) must be paid for in full prior to receiving it. Renter must carry Liability Insurance during the total duration of the rental period. Rental Agreement will be in written form.
Hunting is NOT a portion of the rental.
